GoPro just announced their latest 4k action camera, the Hero 8 Black, which brings new levels of smoothness and ease of use to your 4K video capture. We put the new HyperSmooth 2.0 to the test while racing some go-karts, and we take a quick look at some of the other features, like TimeWarp 2.0 and the action cam's live streaming capabilities.

GOOD STUFF
1 - New design doesn’t require special housing for mounts
2- Image stabilization is even better than before
3- New Mods attachments provide more versatility
BAD STUFF
1- Camera gets very hot while recording
2- New fixed lens isn’t as easy to repair as prior models
3- May not be as rugged as earlier GoPro cameras
